2 Chronicles 20:20-30

20 So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper."
21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: "Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever."
22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.
23 For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another. 24 So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.
25 When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away their spoil, they found among them an abundance of valuables on the dead bodies, and precious jewelry, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away; and they were three days gathering the spoil because there was so much.
26 And on the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, for there they blessed the LORD; therefore the name of that place was called The Valley of Berachah until this day.
27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, with Jehoshaphat in front of them, to go back to Jerusalem with joy, for the LORD had made them rejoice over their enemies.
28 So they came to Jerusalem, with stringed instruments and harps and trumpets, to the house of the LORD.
29 And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries when they heard that the LORD had fought against the enemies of Israel.
30 Then the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for his God gave him rest all around.

This chapter is telling us how the Moabites and the Ammonites came against Jehoshaphat for a battle. Jehoshaphat was warned that his enemies had a great army and were zealous. So, Jehoshaphat, did what he had to do. He set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all of Judah.

He poured his fears out to God in prayer, and waited for God's instructions. Jehoshaphat stood in the courts along with all of the cities of Judah. They stood with their wives and children. They came to seek the Lord. Verses 4-12, shows the prayer that he prayed in the midst of the new court.

The Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel, and encouraged the people telling them not to be afraid or dismayed by the size of the enemies army because the battle was the Lord's battle. All that they had to do was obey God's commands and go
against the army with a loud shout of praise. [vs.14]

They rose up early in the morning. Jehoshaphat appointed singers unto the Lord, so that they could praise Him in the beauty of holiness as they went before the army.

Now, we are faced with demonic enemy forces each day in our walk with Christ. We are in the middle of spiritual warfare. There is warfare on our jobs, in our homes, and in our churches. Bills that are way overdue. Some people are even facing bankruptcy, not only in material things, but also spiritual bankruptcy. (V. 22)

Judah, began to sing and praise the Lord, and set ambushes against the enemy. What an excellent example for us to follow! Regardless of what we are faced with, or how big, and heavy the load may seem, if we would just get in a realm of praise and ambush the demonic forces; our praises will confuse the enemy!

The children of Judah saw dead bodies falling all over the place. Their enemies began to attack each other, and destroy each other. Those anointed singer continued to praise God from the top of their lungs, and from the belly of their soul! Their enemies became more and more confused! Judah soon had the victory!

After the war was over, they found among the spoils, riches, and jewels. More than what they could carry! After our battle is over, we will find that the blessings of God rests upon us. We reach down and bring our testimony back with us. Among the spoils, we will find our joy has been elevated. We will find that we have more faith and peace with God. We will find that we have more of the Holy Ghost and the anointing. Jewels and precious stones!(V 25). Our testimonies of praise will cause
others to fear our God!

If you are being attacked by the enemy. Send out an ambush of praise in his face. He will not be able to stand in the midst of the praise. Why? Because the spirit of the true and living God inhabits the praise. David was always in a battle but he never ceased to praise God. He blessed the Lord at all times. He vowed, that God's praises shall continually be in his mouth.

Send out an ambush of praise continually! Praise God until the enemy has fallen dead! Praise God until the "More than a conquerer"is manifested in your situation!
Praise God, until you can take back a testimony of victory and deliverance that was found among the spoils.

Send out an ambush! Magnify God! Bless Him! Shout halleluah in the face of your troubles! Make a joyful noise in your times of despair. Leap and praise God! Send out an ambush of praise and your deliverance will come! Your battle will be won! Praise in faith, believing that God will fight your battle for you!
